ok..sorry to be a pain in the neck on this one but let me put it another way.
So we have established that by the 6th/7th day God looked on creation and decided it was *very good*.
Still doesn't answer the question as to whether Lucifer fell from heaven before Adam sinned. In fact I think he must have done, obviously, because the serpent ( who satan/lucifer worked through) tempted Eve, so Lucifer must have already fallen?
Therefore it still brings me back to my original question...why ? God had made this perfect world Adam had not yet sinned Lucifer had..so why not just do away with Lucifer and his demons and let humans continue in an unspoilt form ?
Sorry..I know I sound like a nutter, and I'm asking for answers that probably no-one can answer (only God) it just baffles me.

I think if Lucifer had been perfect and never sinned Adam would still have sinned, Satan had his choice just as the angels who chose to follow him had there choice, just as in the millenium when satan is bound sin still enters in without satans help.
God is the only one who is perfect and He had to make provision for creation before it even began....Christ
.

I don't think satan had fallen before Adam was created though Janie.
But I do think God knew satan would fall and would entice Adam to fall because He provided for all these things before they actually took place.
Why? I don't know, I know that God loves us, so it's not a cosmic game at our expense, I can only think that God wanted us (though He did not need us, an important ditinction), but more than that He wanted us to love Him of our own free will..that act of making the choice in His favour, I think this is what is precious to Him. |
