Do you have any interesting stories locally to yourself or family?
Here are some pictures of Mells in Somerset. My great grandparents came from there, and we have an old Family Bible given to them on theire wedding day by a descendant of Little Jack Horner, or the nursery rhyme.
Jack Horner was given some property deeds to deliver somewhere by the Abbot of Glastonbury during the Henry 8th's reign, when there was a lot of turmoil surrounding Church estates. Mells manor was the "plum" he pulled out, hoping no-one would notice.
Sigfried Sassoon and Ronald Knox (whos subsequently owned the Horner manor) are buried in the Churchyard.

Below are a few puciturs of Nunney castle, a small village a few miles from Mells. Very noticable in the middle of a small village.
