Has anyone got it?

Is it OK?

Do I download it?

From reports I would suggest not but I haven't tried it personally......

I'm a great believer in 'if it ain't broke, don't fix it'. If you have a need for IE7 then fair enough but if your current browser does the job why install a new set of bugs just to test for Microsoft?

That seems very reasonable.

Thanks!

I take it you don't care for Microsoft?
What is the browser of choice there?

IE is the browser I use, I was uncertain about upgrading when I didn'y need to.

I also use Flock because it is better for Photobucket.

Flock? Never heard of it Icon_1435
I really need to keep up with the times-lol!
I did the upgrade to IE 7, but don't really use it.
I'm quite happy with my Firefox Icon_biggrin
As for photobucket, well, I'm so very hopeless with it,really! Icon_sad

What I really want to do is copy my "must saves" (emails, pix, etc)
Someone told me that if I ever learn how to do so I should use DVD's instead of CD-R's as they have more room for storage?(copying). They both look the same size disc to me, so now I'm really confused. Icon_1087

DVDs can hold a lot more material as they use a different system.

What is your problem with Photobucket?

Which system do you use for cd/dvd writing?

Oh John, I'm soooooo challenged,aren't I? Icon_1087
My CPU has one slot that says hp cd-writer.
As for Photobucket, a long time ago I put in some pictures, but haven't the foggiest clue as to how to retrieve them Icon_1011

I think you're supposed to know a file name or url to transfer pix from there to here????

I'm so lost with it all that I'll probably just delete what I have there....sigh.... Icon_310

Now that I'm feeling a bit better I can get back to all this computer business.

What's the advantage of using a service like Photobucket vs. just keeping pix on my system (under my pictures)?

I really need to take some classes, just wish there was something available on the web. I'm willing to pay of course.

I use IE 7 and once used to it have found it as good as any, and the Tab feature is very useful. I used to use Firefox but find IE is just more compatible
