I have got a new computer today and whilst it does not have Vista it had MMJB it is a jukebox and it messed up the computer. I tried to play a cd and it would not open, after that Firefox would work but IE would not unless you restarted the computer. Then it would only work until you signed out. The Jukebox never worked. We have uninstalled it but wondered if others have had any problems with it?

Your first day and you break it.... What are you like?

Afraid I've never heard of MMJB so can't help. Try doing a search on Gogle Groups. There is bound to be someone with the same or similar problem.

The search was done and that is why we unistalled it as others said it caused problems with their computers. There I was thinking I could listen to some music with ease.
Now all I have to do is master a new piece of software, Dragon. I have been told that I need it but that I have to have two sessions to learn how to use it.

More importantly with Dragon is that it needs the sessions to learn about you.

You have to train Dragon to your voice and style of speaking. To do this well initially takes between 2 to 3 hours. You need to have no distractions, in a quiet location, and where you are comfortable.
It's hard work initially but the rewards are great if done correctly.

Phyl (my wife) and I both use Dragon and Phyl has just completed her research doctorate in its entirety with Dragon.

URRGGGHHHH
I have3 gone froma laptop to a desktop and cannot get used to having to come off the keyboard to go to the mouse. Not only that I have a trackerball mouse and for the first half a day I kept forgetting and trying to move the mouse not the ball.
Now I am very grateful for the new computer and I know deep down that there were reasons why I needed to have a trackerball and a desktop, I even know that I need these new things to help me. BUT. I feel old and stupid because I keep forgetting to use the mouse.
Oh and the keyboard is a curved one so my typing is even worse than normal.

But I am grateful really, I am blessed to have this, I just am not managin gthe change that well Icon_310

I so hate those curved keyboards, I feel for you. Icon_hugginsmileys_753

I hsve to keep reminding myself that these new toys are to help me manage better, but I keep forgetting to use the mouse and keep looking for the touchpad which for the past two years I have used with my thumbs.

I'm sure I have seen keyboards for sale with touch pads built in. Can't think where though. I will have a look round and see.....

/edit

This seems to be the best priced one around:

That is so kind of you Sis I am getting more used to the mouse, and having had a day with a lot of typing I am getting better with the keyboard. I have for a while found it funny when the rest of the family complained about my touchpad, but I figure soon I will be so used to a mouse that I will find a touchpad odd.
