Today I have been told of two people I know who have died within 4 days of each other last week. One of these deaths was through illness and was expected but the other was sudden and a shock.
There are many people affected by these deaths, not just the family but friends as well.
Please pray for all those who have been affected by these deaths. I have spoken to at least half a dozen people today who are upset by the news.[/u] |

| Bereavements are always sad affairs because people are inevitably missed when they die even after long illnesses. Prayers will be said. |

And a sudden death is in many ways worse with no time to prepare or say goodbye. We will pray also for family and for you. _________________ ".... love thy neighbour as thyself." is the hardest thing I have ever done.... |

Thought I would tag this on here. Hope you don't mind Crystal.
My brother-in-law passed away last Friday and Phyl and I have been up to Scotland today for the funeral.
It was held at an Episcopalian Church, St Andrews, in Gretna where the family live.
The order of service had something on it that I have not seen before but I wanted to share.
Goodbye, My Family, my life is past
I loved you all to the very last.
Weep not for me, but courage take-
Love each other, for my sake.
For those you love don't go away,
They walk beside you every day.
I will love you from the other side of life.
Love is in the soul and the soul never dies. _________________ ".... love thy neighbour as thyself." is the hardest thing I have ever done.... |

Sis,
Thankyou for sharing that poem it is very moving. I hope the funeral went well, as well as funerals can.
Maybe you could change the title of the thread to something that gives all a place to share about their loss. |
