thank you all very much for your kind welcome....I didn't get how to do my profile but Im sure I will catch up. I am male 47 from London father of 5 3 boys...one from my "old" life and 2 girls and one due at the end of the month. My wife and I home educate and we believe the following
I believe in God, the Father Almighty,
the Creator of heaven and earth,
and in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord:
Who was conceived of the Holy Spirit,
born of the Virgin Mary,
suffered under Pontius Pilate,
was crucified, died, and was buried.
He descended into hell (sheol-the grave)
The third day He arose again from the dead.
He ascended into heaven
and sits at the right hand of God the Father Almighty,
whence He shall come to judge the living and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy (and not Roman) catholic church,
the communion of saints,
the forgiveness of sins,
the resurrection of the body,
and life everlasting.
it's a pleasure to be here |

| Quote: | cath·o·lic
1. Of broad or liberal scope; comprehensive: “The 100-odd pages of formulas and constants are surely the most catholic to be found” (Scientific American).
2. Including or concerning all humankind; universal: “what was of catholic rather than national interest” (J.A. Froude).
3. Catholic
1. Of or involving the Roman Catholic Church.
2. Of or relating to the universal Christian church.
3. Of or relating to the ancient undivided Christian church.
4. Of or relating to those churches that have claimed to be representatives of the ancient undivided church. |
I took the comment of (and not Roman) to mean that he was not catholic,
Genea can you solve this one? |

I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy (and not Roman) catholic church.
I was speaking to one of my kids this week about the importance of making sure you read the Bible text to make sure you are clear aboout what it says as Christians have a propensity to assume what it says. |
