You have opinions about the government of the day though maria and you believe that society should be run along certain principles that you find acceptable. You have opinions about things like the war in Iraq, immigration and the Budget. Therefore you do get involved in politics. Mayhap you don't support one particular political party over and above the others but the business of politics affects us all. And that applies even to those who don't bother to vote because government policies affect us all at local and national levels. Whether we like it or not an involvement in politics in inescapable even if it's just a passive acceptance of the status quo. (Not the ageing rockers :icon_1244: by the way.) |

| I still do like the Stones, seen them live twice. Seen Quo several times (adore them). Francis Rossi is 58. |

If you will tell me of a party whose policies and practices I can support I might vote for them. _________________ The effectiveness of a posting is inversely proportional to its length.

I rest my case then. By holding opinions about issues to do with government policy (local, national or international) you do indeed "do" politics as do we all. It is somewhat naive to think otherwise. |

Telling me I have a problem and should consider anger management is an odd way of showing love to a brother maria. I make no bones about the fact that I am prepared to speak my mind but I don't think I am any "bossier" than Cov who is also scorned because his views (e.g. on Israel and eschatology) do not toe the forum line.
And just for the record, I already acknowledged that you weren't an activist for any one political party.
