Thanks everyone for taking the time to join, I'm sure we can make this a happy place and we can enjoy each others company.
I'm going to my brothers funeral tomorrow, mostly this is why i decided to open this forum, ( partly to keep my mind occupied and partly because I enjoy the company of people )
I'ts in the quiet moments your mind tends to wonder and i'm sure most or some of you have experianced someone dying.
My brothers faith was unshaking and if someone had said 'in 5 weeks you are going to be in heaven and see God and Abraham and Isaac and your departed family' he would have been estatic with excitment, I know he would, such was the man.
Myself I would if I was truthful have my doubts about getting there and dare I say...sometimes have wee doubts about it being there :shock: (but i know it is :wink: ) and i wouldnt like to live forever down here or turn the clock back and do it all again would you?
and can I say thanks once again for coming here and taking the time to do so x |
